Notice of financial incentive

For California residents and everyone else on the Viewer Panel panel. Effective October 21, 2026. Version 2026-10-22.

Viewer Panel, operated by Virtue, a Colorado limited liability company, Boulder, Colorado, pays its members for sharing their TikTok export and optional extras, for use in research sold to companies as group results. This notice explains the pay, the terms, and what we think your data is worth.

The incentive

• Pay per approved export. $30.00 for each approved export. At one export every two weeks that is $60.00 a month.
• Bonuses. Some studies add a bonus per export for groups that are hard to find. Your study page shows it before you join.
• Referral rewards. Some studies pay you when a friend joins with your link and sends an approved export, for up to 10 friends per study.
• Scout rewards. $0.50 when we accept a video you spotted, $5.00 more if it breaks out, and $25.00 more if a company uses it.
• Revenue share. Some studies set aside a share of what the company paid for the members whose data it used, split by days of viewing.

The data involved

Videos watched with start times and watch time; likes, favorites, shares, reposts, searches and follows; TikTok's ad interest labels; and, if you choose, Instagram ads and viewing, matched Amazon order dates, matched app install dates, check in answers and scout screenshots. Also your age status, a device count and a payout email. The privacy policy lists everything, and everything that stays on your phone.

Material terms

• A day of viewing is paid once, the first time an export covers it. A day counts when it holds at least 10 videos and 5 minutes of watching.
• Exports that look automated, padded or copied are held for a person to review and may go unpaid. Three flagged exports close the membership.
• Payouts go through Whop, which checks your identity before your first payment.
• Pay you have already earned stays yours if you stop or delete.

How to opt in

Join through a study link. Before each upload, your member page shows exactly what will be sent and the uses it serves. Ticking the consent box and pressing Send is your opt in.

How to withdraw

Stop any time. Press Delete my data on your member page, or email privacy@viewerpanel.com. Withdrawal takes effect right away and ends future pay.

What your data is worth to us

Our good faith estimate: about $30.00 for a typical two week export. That is about $60.00 a month. The value is approximately equal to the pay we offer.

How we calculated it. We value your data at what we pay for it, because that's the price we set for it and every member in a study is offered the same terms. Bonuses, referral rewards, scout rewards and any revenue share come on top.
